Although it has been ten years since she got her break in the industry as the second runner up in the season of Rising Stars, Nickeisha Barnes is not giving up on her dreams to achieve global success. 
A former Digicel Rising Stars finalist, Barnes' voice and courage have inspired countless others to break free from the shackles of violence. MusicMatters, as Barnes explained, is the collaborative product of herself, producer Saunjay 'Triple Ace' Kerr and Sasha Jennings, who she describes as road/street support. According to the soulful reggae crooner, MusicMatters is responsible for her latest EP, Wounded In Love, and the team recently decided to do an acoustic version of the EP.
